FULL GARDEN DESIGN

The design process is a phased, collaborative. We start by understanding your lifestyle and goals, enabling us to create a fitting design. We maintain regular communication and updates throughout the process.

Once the designs are complete, we work with talented landscapers to bring your vision to life and conduct site inspections to ensure everything meets your specifications.

initial meeting

The journey begins with a site visit and an initial consultation. This is an opportunity to explore your vision for the garden, understand your practical needs, and get a true sense of the existing space—its character, challenges, and potential.

Following this, you’ll receive a written brief detailing the proposed design process, fee structure, and a clear summary of your objectives. This ensures we're on the same page from the outset, setting the stage for a thoughtful and collaborative design experience.

concept design

The next step is a topographical survey, which maps out the site’s layout, levels, and existing utilities. This forms the base for our concept designs, developed in both 2D and 3D to explore the overall vision. Moodboards are created alongside to help set the tone and feel of the design. At this stage, the focus is on getting the layout right, with details to follow later in the process.

masterplan

Once the concept design is approved, we evolve the agreed layout into a detailed master plan. This stage introduces proposed material palettes and defines key areas across the site. A planting palette is also developed, capturing the intended character and overall style of the landscape.

planting design

The planting plan outlines the exact locations of all proposed plants, supported by a detailed schedule listing species, sizes, and quantities for accurate costing, ordering, and placement. To give a clear sense of the intended look and feel, a plant moodboard is included.
