ABOUT JAmie
Growing up in Dorset Jamie spent most of his formative years exploring the local coastline and countryside. The rugged terrain of the Jurassic coast, the gentle rolling hills and nestled rural villages all inspiring his current design work.
Jamie studied Fine Art at Bournemouth Arts Institute where he found himself predominantly painting landscapes and plants. This inspired him to study Horticulture, and went on to complete his RHS and NCH qualifications at Kingston Maurward Collage before starting his own design practice.
Jamie fell in love with creating spaces for others to enjoy. Spaces that open and free your mind. spaces of security, serenity, calmness and longevity.

Jamie believes that a good garden can have peace, excitement and inspiration. Each element working in unity with the other in one space.

'Garden design is about making you think or not think at all.''

Jamie is currently working as the lead designer for the multi award winning Oxfordshire based design firm, Oxford Garden Design alongside taking on private commissions.

''Jamie has a wonderful way of understanding people's ideas and aspirations. He creates digital or traditional plans, which then start the exciting process of garden transformation.
This wonderful mix of creativity, diligence and sheer love of gardening and plants can be seen time and time again in the many garden design projects Jamie has designed and produced.''
