A Garden Advice Consultation is a focused session with Jamie, tailored to your garden, priorities and budget. It is ideal if you are unsure how to move forward, need help resolving a particular area, or want an experienced designer’s input before undertaking work yourself.
IN PERSON
A focused visit to your garden with Jamie, allowing the space, its setting and any practical challenges to be fully understood on site.
This option is best suited to gardens with complex layouts, changes in level, access issues, established planting or several areas that need to work together.
The consultation can cover:

Garden layout and spatial planning

Patio, pathway and seating locations

Planting ideas and suitable species
-
Screening, privacy and boundaries
-
Materials and landscape finishes
-
Existing features to retain, remove or improve

Budget priorities and project phasing

Advice on working with landscapers and suppliers
DURATION
Up to two hours on site.
FEE
From £1,000, depending on the location, size and complexity of the garden.
Travel within the local service area is included. Additional travel costs may apply for gardens further afield and will always be agreed in advance.

Following the consultation, you will receive a concise digital advice pack summarising the key recommendations discussed.
Depending on the needs of the garden, this may include:

ONLINE
A focused design session with Jamie held via Zoom, suitable for clients anywhere in the UK.
This option works particularly well for individual areas, planting questions, layout reviews or gardens where clear photographs, measurements and plans can be provided in advance.
Before the meeting, you will be asked to provide:

Photographs and videos of the garden

Basic garden measurements

A simple plan, estate-agent plan or satellite image where available

Details of your priorities, budget and preferred style

Images of gardens or materials you are drawn to
DURATION
Up to 90 minutes via Zoom.

IS THIS A FULL GARDEN DESIGN?
No. Both consultation options provide professional ideas, clarity and direction without the detailed drawings and documentation included within the full garden design service.
Any drawings provided are intended to communicate ideas and are not suitable for construction or setting out.
Where a garden requires measured plans, detailed layouts, technical information, planting plans or ongoing support, Jamie may recommend progressing to the full design service.
