Growing up in Dorset I spent most of my time exploring the coastline and countryside, feeding my love of nature, which in turn inspires a lot of my work.

Whilst studying Fine Art at Bournemouth Arts Institute, I found myself predominantly painting landscapes and plants. This inspired me to study Horticulture, and I went on to complete my RHS qualification at Kingston Maurward, furthering my learning and knowledge.

I fell in love with creating spaces for others to enjoy. Spaces that open and free your mind.

It is my belief that a good garden can have peace, excitement and inspiration. Each element working in unity with the other in one space.

'Garden design is about making you think or not think at all.''

During my time working as the in house designer for a local design firm, I have received many awards for my designs, including awards from the Royal Horticultural Society, Best in Show at Blenheim Palace Flower Show, and the BBC Gardeners World Live Peoples Choice award in 2017.

I started my own design practice in 2017. I have completed numerous private and public projects and most recently won Gold and Best in show for a second time at Blenheim Flower Show.

''Jamie has a wonderful way of understanding people's ideas and aspirations. He creates digital or traditional plans, which then start the exciting process of garden transformation.

This wonderful mix of creativity, diligence and sheer love of gardening and plants can be seen time and time again in the many garden design projects Jamie has designed and produced.''
